Baby Buddies Splash n Slide Red Dog Variant

Postby TequilaMockingbird » Fri Mar 03, 2017 12:48 pm

Not the most crazy variant we've seen but I noticed I have two slightly different versions of the red dog. The face paint colors are a little different and the stoppers on the bottom are green (blank) versus brown (with 95 TONKA CHINA)

I wonder if it's because of being made at different times, or in different places? Where were baby buddies actually sold? I don't remember seeing them for sale in Australia. And what years were they made?

In the US, they first appeared in late 1994 if memory serves.

I also found pictured boxes with a french logo...
I am not sure whether it's a canadian variation, or a french one!
