In case anyone thought that Kenner's Littlest Pet Shop was "too cute", theres this alternative.

I was kind of intrigued when I saw this series yesterday at Target. The Ugglys Pet Shop. I'll just let you form your own opinions :)

Some of the comments are kind of entertaining. Surprise Golden Poop!

Yuck! I was a fan of slimy toys like gack and creepy crawlers, but these just seem disturbing.

The comparison of them being the "boys" alternative to LPS reminds me of how Easy Bake Ovens were only marketed to girls back in the 90s and the boys equivalent was the Creepy Crawlers Bug Maker.
Boys only like gross, slimy, green things! *sarcasm*

I wanted one of those bug makers so badly, but I got an Easy Bake Oven along with all the other little girls at the family Christmas party. I was bummed.
